Hey Guys/Girls I 1st came across BWF when I saw your van parked in Bournemouth a few years ago, I couldn't help but miss it, I've got to say nice work on the van and on here too, I've lost count the amount of times I visited your site and every time I am amazed. Hopefully we will meet on your travels around the UK and I will pickup some useful advice from the pro's yourselves.

Keep up the excellent work

Many thanks for your kind comments Stu :)

I used to travel to Dorset most weekends (2002 - 2004) as I lived in Surrey during this time and spent a lot of time camping in Ringwood.

The website had been left dormant for a few years (as you may have noticed!) with the continual promise to myself of me getting around to rebuilding it myself rather than relying on the previous web guy (which was very restrictive). From now on you will see it updated frequently.

I'm still sifting through old CD's to find more pics to upload!

Hi Dave

BWF's site is getting so much better now.
Fantastic work on the Murals, Ice Cream Van, Rally Car and Rolls Royce,
Just want you to know that if ever you are just happening to be looking for a 33 yr old apprentice for free, just let me know..he he.

I think my favourite photo has got to be the mural of the 2 girls or the airbrushed truck..Excellent !!

Do you freehand draw/paint your work from photo's/pictures 1st or project them ?

Hi Stu,
a lot of my work is projected as it saves so much time and ensures that the piece isn't too big or too small for the substrate.

That said, there are many jobs that can't be projected so they are done the old fashioned way! (life drawing helps to keep my hand to eye co-ordinates in tune)

When projecting I always get the comment "Hey that's cheating!" which really winds me up. I always feel like saying "okay, here's the brush..., YOU finish it off!"
